Dr. Gonzalez obtained his M.D. degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico in 1978. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, TX and did a year of Surgical Pathology fellowship at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He became a member of the Department of Pathology of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. In 1991 he moved to private practice in Oklahoma City, OK. He joined PTPG in 2007 where his primary location is at Methodist Medical Center. His interests are in hematopathology and flow cytometry.
