Dr. McGrady received a B.S. from University of Illinois at Urbana in 1972 and an M.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield in 1976. His residency in anatomic and clinical pathology was at the University of Iowa. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He completed a fellowship in clinical microbiology at Indiana University School of Medicine. He practiced general pathology in Belleville, Illinois for seven years. Dr. McGrady joined PTPG in 1989. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. In 2007 he became Laboratory Director at Urolgical Associates. His special interests are in clinical microbiology, transfusion medicine and surgical pathology.
