Dr. McGrady received a B.S. from University of Illinois at Urbana in 1972 and an M.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield in 1976. His residency in anatomic and clinical pathology was at the University of Iowa. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He completed a fellowship in clinical microbiology at Indiana University School of Medicine. He practiced general pathology in Belleville, Illinois for seven years. Dr. McGrady joined PTPG in 1989. In 2009, he became laboratory director of Graham Hospital in Canton, IL. His special interests are clinical microbiology, transfusion medicine and surgical pathology. In 2009, he became Treasurer for PTPG.
