Thomas A. Webb, M.D.  

Dr. Webb received a B.A. degree in Biology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1971 and an M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1974. His internship was at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana, and his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology was at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota (1975-1979). Dr. Webb is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He worked as a staff pathologist at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana for 8 years and joined PTPG in 1987. Dr. Webb is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. He served as Interim Medical Director for American Red Cross Blood Services, Peoria (1991-92), and was a previous Laboratory Director of Methodist Medical Center of Illinois. He served as Laboratory Director at Graham Hospital in Canton (2003-2007) and Proctor Hospital (2007-2009). He is currently Laboratory Director at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, IL. His special interests are in surgical pathology, transfusion medicine and practice management.
