Dr. Kramer received a B.S. in medical technology from Michigan State University in 1981 and an M.D. from Wayne State University in 1986. Her internship and pathology residency were at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She joined PTPG in 1991.

Dr. Kramer is the current Laboratory Director of Pekin Hospital and Kewanee Hospital. Her special interests are flow cytometry, hematology and gastrointestinal pathology. Dr. Kramer is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
